ಗೌರ ಪೂರ್ಣಿಮೆಯು ಶ್ರೀಚೈತನ್ಯ ಮಹಾಪ್ರಭುಗಳ ಜನ್ಮದಿನ. ಇದನ್ನು ಫಾಲ್ಗುಣ ಹುಣ್ಣಿಮೆಯಂದು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ಆಚರಿಸುವ ರೀತಿ
ಗೌಡೀಯ ವೈಷ್ಣವರು ಚಂದ್ರೋದಯದವರೆಗೆ ಉಪವಾಸವಿದ್ದು, ದಿನವಿಡೀ ಸಂಕೀರ್ತನೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ರೀಚೈತನ್ಯರ ಜೀವನ ಚರಿತ್ರೆಯ ವಾಚನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಗೌರ ಮತ್ತು ನಿತಾಯಿ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಭಿಷೇಕ ಮಾಡಿ ಅಲಂಕರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಚಂದ್ರೋದಯದ ನಂತರ ಮಹಾಪ್ರಸಾದವನ್ನು ನಿವೇದಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಮಾಯಾಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ ನವದ್ವೀಪ ಪರಿಕ್ರಮದೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಡೆಯುವ ಉತ್ಸವವು ಈ ದಿನ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ. ಬಂಗಾಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದನ್ನು ದೋಲ್ ಪೂರ್ಣಿಮೆ ಎಂದೂ ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ಕಥೆ
ಶ್ರೀಚೈತನ್ಯ ಮಹಾಪ್ರಭುಗಳು 1486ರಲ್ಲಿ ನವದ್ವೀಪದ ಮಾಯಾಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ, ಫಾಲ್ಗುಣ ಹುಣ್ಣಿಮೆಯ ಚಂದ್ರಗ್ರಹಣದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ, ಜನರು ಹರಿನಾಮ ಸಂಕೀರ್ತನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಜನಿಸಿದರು. ಗೌಡೀಯ ವೈಷ್ಣವರು ಇವರನ್ನು ರಾಧಾರಾಣಿಯ ಭಾವದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಾಕ್ಷಾತ್ ಶ್ರೀಕೃಷ್ಣ ಎಂದೇ ನಂಬುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅವರು ಸಾಮೂಹಿಕ ಹರಿನಾಮ ಸಂಕೀರ್ತನೆಯನ್ನು ಪಸರಿಸಿದರು, ಅವರ ಅನುಯಾಯಿಗಳು ಅದನ್ನು ಬಂಗಾಳ, ಒಡಿಶಾ ಮತ್ತು ಬೃಂದಾವನದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಪಸರಿಸಿದರು.
ಅನುದಿನ ಕೊಡುವ ದಿನ
ಸೂರ್ಯೋದಯದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಫಾಲ್ಗುಣ ಹುಣ್ಣಿಮೆ ಇರುವ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಅನುದಿನ ಆ್ಯಪ್ ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ.
ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಗೌಡೀಯ (ಇಸ್ಕಾನ್) ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಓದುಗರಿಗೆ, ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲೇ ಇದ್ದರೂ ಅನುದಿನ ಇದನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಹಬ್ಬಗಳು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಕಾಣಿಸುತ್ತವೆ; ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ದಿನಗಳು ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತವೆ, ಅಷ್ಟೇ.
ಈ ನಿಯಮವನ್ನು 2025ರ ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 14, 2026ರ ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 3 ಮತ್ತು 2027ರ ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 22ರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ (Drik Panchang for ISKCON, ISKCON Bangalore) ಹೋಲಿಸಿ ನೋಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ.

How it is kept
Gaudiya Vaishnavas fast until moonrise and spend the day in kirtana and in the reading of Sri Chaitanya’s life. The deities of Gaura and Nitai are bathed and dressed, and a feast is offered after moonrise. At Mayapur the day closes a festival with the parikrama of Navadvipa. In Bengal it is also Dol Purnima.
The story
Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu was born in 1486 at Mayapur in Navadvipa, on the full moon of Phalguna, during a lunar eclipse, while the people chanted the holy names. Gaudiya Vaishnavas hold him to be Krishna himself in the mood of Radha. He spread the congregational chanting of the holy names, and his followers carried it across Bengal, Odisha and Vrindavan.
