Here Duryodhana names the leading warriors on the Pandava side. Yuyudhana is Satyaki, the Yadava hero and a disciple of Arjuna. The Pandavas spent their year in hiding at Virata&#8217;s court, and besides, his daughter Uttara is Abhimanyu&#8217;s wife. Sridhara Swami quotes the defining verse: one skilled in both weapons and their science, able to face ten thousand archers alone, is a maharatha. Above him is the atiratha.
