Sanjaya&#8217;s answer begins with Duryodhana. Madhusudana Saraswati reads the small word tu, but, as marking a contrast. On the Pandava side there is no trace of fear. Duryodhana did not send for him. He went to Drona himself. It looks like respect for a teacher, but many commentators see fear hidden behind it.
