Sridhara Swami says this verse is the answer. One who worships another deity thinking &#8216;he is one and I am another&#8217; does not know; he is like an animal to the gods. Because of sin accumulated from beginningless time, people without discernment want only the fruit that comes quickly: children, cattle, food, heaven.
