Every verse ends with &#8220;bhava \u015ba\u1e45kara de\u015bika me \u015bara\u1e47am&#8221;: Shankara, my teacher, be my refuge. The guru is the treasure of the meaning of the Upanishads, the one who teaches the discernment of Ishvara and the jiva, and Shiva himself.
