Traditional commentators see the will of providence, the play of Mahamaya, behind the strong man&#8217;s defeat by the weak. Here too two readings are possible: the kings of that name, or those who destroyed the city of Kola (Kolapuri). On the second reading, they first laid waste a city of Suratha&#8217;s and then defeated him in battle.
