It is not merely a decision. It is the mind&#8217;s grip on the fruit, &#8216;I must get this from this&#8217;, from which desire is born. The true renunciate gives up the intention behind both action and fruit. The yogi of action, while acting, gives up the intention about the fruit. Krishna says: see that within the yoga of action itself. &#8216;Sankalpa&#8217; for him is taking prakriti, which is not the self, to be the self.
