Many match the three occupations named to the materials that worship needs. The churning of the ocean brought up the nectar, so it stands on the side of food. Breaking into the nether world yields gems, so it stands for ornaments, and the forest gives flowers and the skins of animals, so it stands for flowers and clothes.
