Ramanuja gives a long description of the Lord&#8217;s form for the two words &#8216;manmana bhava&#8217;: wide, spotless eyes like lotus petals, the hue of a clear dark rain cloud, a radiance like a thousand suns risen at once, four arms, a shining yellow garment, crown and makara earrings. His sense is: fix your mind on such a one, unbroken like a stream of oil. The three commands that follow he explains as qualifying this same state of mind.
