A mind of dispassion is the bowl. A mind unclouded by attachment and aversion is the windless room. For him the &#8216;darkness&#8217; is the old habit, born of past karma, of the mind sliding towards things other than him. For Sridhara Swami it is samsara, made by ignorance.
