According to the Vishnu Purana, when Krishna was born he appeared in the four-armed form with conch, discus and mace. When Vasudeva, fearing Kamsa, pleaded with him, he concealed two of the arms. The four-armed form is his own form, and that is why Arjuna says &#8216;that same four-armed form&#8217;.
