body but discipline of conduct. According to Sridhara Swami the three verses from here give three forms of austerity, by body, speech and mind. For him the &#8216;prajna&#8217; are knowers of truth other than one&#8217;s guru. His definition of &#8216;brahmacharya&#8217; is notable: not looking at women with the notion that they are objects of enjoyment, and the like. &#8216;Ahimsa&#8217; is not causing pain to beings.
