ಗಣೇಶ ಚತುರ್ಥಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾಪಿಸಿದ ಗಣಪತಿಯ ಮೂರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ವಿಸರ್ಜಿಸುವಾಗ ಹೇಳುವ ಮಂತ್ರ ಇದು. ಬಂದ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಗೌರವದಿಂದ ಬೀಳ್ಕೊಡುವ ಮಾತು.
ಮುಂದಿನ ವರ್ಷ ಮತ್ತೆ ಬರಲಿ ಎಂಬ ಆಶಯದೊಂದಿಗೇ ಈ ಬೀಳ್ಕೊಡುಗೆ ಮುಗಿಯುತ್ತದೆ.
ಶ್ಲೋಕ (ಕನ್ನಡ)
ಯಾಂತು ದೇವಗಣಾಃ ಸರ್ವೇ ಪೂಜಾಮಾದಾಯ ಪಾರ್ಥಿವೀಮ್ ।
ಇಷ್ಟಕಾಮಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ್ಯರ್ಥಂ ಪುನರಾಗಮನಾಯ ಚ ॥

यान्तु देवगणाः सर्वे पूजामादाय पार्थिवीम् ।
इष्टकामप्रसिद्ध्यर्थं पुनरागमनाय च ॥

yāntu devagaṇāḥ sarve pūjāmādāya pārthivīm |
iṣṭakāmaprasiddhyarthaṃ punarāgamanāya ca ||
ಪದಶಃ ಅರ್ಥ
- ಯಾಂತು (यान्तु, yāntu) = ತೆರಳಲಿ (may they go)
- ದೇವಗಣಾಃ ಸರ್ವೇ (देवगणाः सर्वे, devagaṇāḥ sarve) = ಎಲ್ಲ ದೇವತಾಗಣಗಳೂ (all the hosts of the gods)
- ಪೂಜಾಮ್ ಆದಾಯ ಪಾರ್ಥಿವೀಮ್ (पूजाम् आदाय पार्थिवीम्, pūjām ādāya pārthivīm) = ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಮೂರ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿ (having accepted the worship offered to the clay image)
- ಇಷ್ಟಕಾಮಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ್ಯರ್ಥಮ್ (इष्टकामप्रसिद्ध्यर्थम्, iṣṭakāmaprasiddhyartham) = ಇಷ್ಟ ಕೋರಿಕೆಗಳ ಸಿದ್ಧಿಗಾಗಿ (for the fulfilment of our desired wishes)
- ಪುನಃ ಆಗಮನಾಯ ಚ (पुनः आगमनाय च, punaḥ āgamanāya ca) = ಮತ್ತೆ ಬರುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೂ (and so that they may come again)
ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಅರ್ಥ (ಕನ್ನಡ)
ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಮೂರ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ಈ ಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿ, ನಮ್ಮ ಇಷ್ಟಕೋರಿಕೆಗಳು ಈಡೇರಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂದಿನ ಬಾರಿ ಮತ್ತೆ ಬರಲಿ ಎಂಬ ಆಶಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲ ದೇವಗಣಗಳೂ ತೆರಳಲಿ.
ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಅರ್ಥ (ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್)
Having accepted this worship offered to the clay image, may all the hosts of the gods now depart, so that our desired wishes may be fulfilled, and so that they may come again next time.

ಗಣಪತಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿ, ಪೂಜಿಸಿ, ಗೌರವದಿಂದ ಬೀಳ್ಕೊಡುವ ಈ ಕ್ರಮ, ಬಂದ ಅತಿಥಿಯನ್ನು ಮನೆಗೆ ಕರೆದು ಉಪಚರಿಸಿ ಮತ್ತೆ ಬರಲಿ ಎಂದು ಬೀಳ್ಕೊಡುವ ಭಾವಕ್ಕೆ ಹತ್ತಿರ.
The custom of welcoming, worshipping and then respectfully seeing off Ganesha is close to the feeling of welcoming a guest into our home, caring for them, and seeing them off with the hope that they return.
ಪಾರ್ಥಿವ ಎಂದರೆ ಪೃಥ್ವಿ ಅಥವಾ ಮಣ್ಣಿನಿಂದ ಆದದ್ದು ಎಂದರ್ಥ, ಗಣೇಶ ಚತುರ್ಥಿಯ ಮೂರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಮಣ್ಣಿನಿಂದಲೇ ಮಾಡುವ ರೂಢಿಯನ್ನು ಈ ಪದ ನೆನಪಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
Parthiva means made of earth or clay, and this word recalls the custom of making the Ganesha Chaturthi image out of clay itself.

ಇಂದಿನ ಬದುಕಿಗೆFor life today

This short mantra teaches us to welcome what arrives with love, and to let it go with the same love when its time comes.
