ಇಸ್ಕಾನ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರು ಬೃಂದಾವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಹಲೋಕ ತ್ಯಜಿಸಿದ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸುವುದೇ ಶ್ರೀಲ ಪ್ರಭುಪಾದರ ತಿರೋಭಾವ ದಿನ. ಇದನ್ನು ಕಾರ್ತಿಕ ಶುಕ್ಲ ಚತುರ್ಥಿಯಂದು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ಆಚರಿಸುವ ರೀತಿ
ಇಸ್ಕಾನ್ ಭಕ್ತರು ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನದವರೆಗೆ ಉಪವಾಸವಿದ್ದು, ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಅವರ ಬೋಧನೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೆನೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಗೌರವಾರ್ಥ ಭೋಜನವನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅವರು ಇಹಲೋಕ ತ್ಯಜಿಸಿದ ಬೃಂದಾವನದ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಬಲರಾಮ ಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅವರ ಸಮಾಧಿಯ ಬಳಿ ಅತಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಮಾವೇಶ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತದೆ.
ಕಥೆ
ಕಾರ್ತಿಕ ಮಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ, 1977ರ ನವೆಂಬರ್ 14ರಂದು, ಶಿಷ್ಯರ ಹರಿನಾಮ ಸಂಕೀರ್ತನೆಯ ನಡುವೆ ಶ್ರೀಲ ಪ್ರಭುಪಾದರು ಬೃಂದಾವನದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇಹ ತ್ಯಾಗ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ತಮ್ಮ ಬದುಕಿನ ಕೊನೆಯ ದಶಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ನೂರಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ದೇವಾಲಯಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದರು, ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳನ್ನು ಬರೆದು ಅನುವಾದಿಸಿದರು; ಇಂದು ಇಸ್ಕಾನ್ ಮುನ್ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕೃಷಿ ಸಮುದಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಗೂ ಉಚಿತ ಅನ್ನದಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದರು.
ಅನುದಿನ ಕೊಡುವ ದಿನ
ಕಾರ್ತಿಕ ಮಾಸದ ಶುಕ್ಲ ಪಕ್ಷದ ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ತಿಥಿಯಾದ ಕಾರ್ತಿಕ ಶುಕ್ಲ ಚತುರ್ಥಿಯು ಸೂರ್ಯೋದಯದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಅನುದಿನ ಆ್ಯಪ್ ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ. 1977ಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹಿಂದಿನ ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುದಿನ ಯಾವುದೇ ದಿನವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಗೌಡೀಯ (ಇಸ್ಕಾನ್) ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ ಓದುಗರು ಎಲ್ಲೇ ಇದ್ದರೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಈ ದಿನ ಕಾಣುತ್ತದೆ. ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಹಬ್ಬಗಳು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಕಾಣಿಸುತ್ತವೆ; ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ದಿನಗಳು ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತವೆ, ಅಷ್ಟೇ.

ISKCON devotees fast until noon, sing kirtanas, remember his teaching and offer a feast in his honour. The largest gathering is at his samadhi at the Krishna Balaram temple in Vrindavan, where he left the world.
The story
Srila Prabhupada left his body at Vrindavan on 14 November 1977, in the month of Kartika, with his disciples chanting around him. In his last decade he had founded over a hundred temples, written and translated more than seventy books and started the farm communities and free food programmes that ISKCON keeps today.
Which day Anudina gives
Anudina gives the day on which Kartika shukla chaturthi, the fourth tithi of the bright fortnight of Kartika, is running at sunrise. Anudina shows no day for years before 1977.
Anudina shows it to readers who tick the Gaudiya (ISKCON) lineage in the Tradition sheet, wherever they are. The general festivals are always shown; a lineage only adds days.
