ಪುಷ್ಟಿಮಾರ್ಗದ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ವಲ್ಲಭಾಚಾರ್ಯರ ಜನ್ಮದಿನವೇ ವಲ್ಲಭಾಚಾರ್ಯ ಜಯಂತಿ. ಇದನ್ನು ಚೈತ್ರ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಏಕಾದಶಿಯಾದ ವರೂಥಿನಿ ಏಕಾದಶಿಯ ದಿನ ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ಆಚರಿಸುವ ರೀತಿ
ಪುಷ್ಟಿಮಾರ್ಗದ ಹವೇಲಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇದು ಶ್ರೀ ಮಹಾಪ್ರಭುಗಳ ಪ್ರಾಕಟ್ಯ ಉತ್ಸವ. ಈ ದಿನ ಶ್ರೀನಾಥಜೀ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೃಷ್ಣನ ಇತರ ಸ್ವರೂಪಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಶೃಂಗಾರ ಮತ್ತು ದರ್ಶನಗಳನ್ನು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಕೃತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪಠಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇದು ವರೂಥಿನಿ ಏಕಾದಶಿಯಂದೇ ಬರುವುದರಿಂದ ನೈವೇದ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಊಟೋಪಚಾರಗಳು ಏಕಾದಶಿಯ ನಿಯಮಗಳಂತೆಯೇ ಇರುತ್ತವೆ.
ಕಥೆ
ರಾಯಪುರದ ಸಮೀಪದ ಚಂಪಾರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ 1479ರ ಚೈತ್ರ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಏಕಾದಶಿಯಂದು ವಲ್ಲಭಾಚಾರ್ಯರು ಜನಿಸಿದರು. ಪ್ರಯಾಣದ ನಡುವೆ ಹೆದರಿ ಓಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ತಂದೆತಾಯಿಗಳು, ಮಗು ಸತ್ತು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಿ ಅಲ್ಲೇ ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋದರು; ನಂತರ ಬಂದು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ವೃತ್ತದ ನಡುವೆ ಮಗು ಜೀವಂತವಾಗಿರುವುದು ಕಂಡಿತು ಎಂದು ಪರಂಪರೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತದೆ. ಅವರು ಕೃಪಾಮಾರ್ಗವಾದ ಪುಷ್ಟಿಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನೂ, ಶುದ್ಧಾದ್ವೈತ ತತ್ವವನ್ನೂ ಬೋಧಿಸಿದರು ಹಾಗೂ ಗೋವರ್ಧನದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀನಾಥಜೀಯ ಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದರು.
ಅನುದಿನ ಕೊಡುವ ದಿನ
ಅಮಾಂತ ಲೆಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಚೈತ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ಪೂರ್ಣಿಮಾಂತ ಲೆಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ವೈಶಾಖ ಮಾಸದ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಏಕಾದಶಿ ತಿಥಿಯು ಸೂರ್ಯೋದಯಕ್ಕೆ ಇರುವ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಅನುದಿನ ಆ್ಯಪ್ ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದು ವರೂಥಿನಿ ಏಕಾದಶಿಯ ದಿನವೂ ಹೌದು.
ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪುಷ್ಟಿಮಾರ್ಗ (ವಲ್ಲಭ) ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಓದುಗರಿಗೆ, ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲೇ ಇದ್ದರೂ ಅನುದಿನ ಈ ದಿನವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಹಬ್ಬಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಸದಾ ಕಾಣುತ್ತವೆ; ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡಾಗ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ದಿನಗಳು ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತವೆ.

How it is kept
In the havelis of Pushtimarga it is the Prakatya Utsav of Sri Mahaprabhuji: Shrinathji and the other forms of Krishna are given festive shringar and darshans, kirtans are sung and his works read. As it falls on Varuthini Ekadashi, the offerings and meals follow the ekadashi rule.
The story
Vallabhacharya was born in 1479 at Champaranya, near Raipur, on the eleventh of dark Chaitra. The tradition tells that his parents, fleeing on a journey, left the child for stillborn, and found him alive in a ring of fire. He taught the path of grace, Pushtimarga, and its philosophy, Shuddhadvaita, and began the worship of Shrinathji at Govardhan.
Which day Anudina gives
Anudina gives the day on which the eleventh tithi of the dark fortnight is running at sunrise, in the month that is Chaitra by the amanta count and Vaishakha by the purnimanta count. It is the day of Varuthini Ekadashi.
