ಪದಶಃ ಅರ್ಥ

ಬಾಲಮ್ ನೀಲಾಂಬುದಾಭಮ್ (बालम् नीलाम्बुदाभम्, bālam nīlāmbudābham) = ಮೋಡದ ಬಣ್ಣದ ಬಾಲಕನನ್ನು (the child of the colour of a dark cloud)
ನವಮಣಿವಿಲಸತ್ಕಿಂಕಿಣೀಜಾಲಬದ್ಧಮ್ (नवमणिविलसत्किङ्किणीजालबद्धम्, navamaṇivilasatkiṅkiṇījālabaddham) = ನವರತ್ನಗಳ ಗೆಜ್ಜೆಗಳ ಸಾಲನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡವನನ್ನು (who wears a string of tinkling bells set with nine gems)

ಪ್ರಸನ್ನಮ್ ಗೋವಿಂದಮ್ (प्रसन्नम् गोविन्दम्, prasannam govindam) = ಪ್ರಸನ್ನನಾದ ಗೋವಿಂದನನ್ನು (the serene Govinda)
ವಂದಿತೇಂದ್ರಾದ್ಯಮ್ (वन्दितेन्द्राद्यम्, vanditendrādyam) = ಇಂದ್ರ ಮೊದಲಾದವರಿಂದ ವಂದಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವನನ್ನು (who is bowed to by Indra and others)
ಅಮುಂ ಪೂಜಯೇತ್ ವಾಸರಾದೌ (अमुं पूजयेत् वासरादौ, amuṃ pūjayet vāsarādau) = ಇವನನ್ನು ದಿನದ ಆರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಪೂಜಿಸಬೇಕು (one should worship him at the start of the day)

ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಅರ್ಥ (ಕನ್ನಡ)

ಮೋಡದ ಬಣ್ಣದ, ನವರತ್ನಗಳ ಗೆಜ್ಜೆಗಳ ಸಾಲುಳ್ಳ, ಅರಳಿದ ತಾವರೆಯಂಥ ಮುಖವುಳ್ಳ, ಶಕಟಾಸುರ ಪೂತನಿಯರನ್ನು ಸೋಲಿಸಿದ, ಪ್ರಸನ್ನನಾದ, ಇಂದ್ರ ಮೊದಲಾದವರಿಂದ ವಂದಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಆ ಬಾಲಗೋವಿಂದನನ್ನು ದಿನದ ಆರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಪೂಜಿಸಬೇಕು.

ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಅರ್ಥ (ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್)

One should worship, at the start of the day, that child Govinda, dark as a cloud, wearing a string of tinkling bells set with nine gems, his face like a fully bloomed lotus, who overcame Shakatasura, the whirlwind demon and Putana, serene, and bowed to by Indra and others.

ಈ ಶ್ಲೋಕದ ಬಗ್ಗೆAbout this verse

ಈ ಧ್ಯಾನ ಶ್ಲೋಕ ಬಾಲಕೃಷ್ಣನ ಬಾಲಲೀಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸುತ್ತ, ದಿನದ ಆರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಧ್ಯಾನ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತದೆ.

This dhyana verse recalls the childhood exploits of Krishna, and recommends meditating on him at the start of the day.
