ದಶರಥನ ಮಗ, ಸೀತೆಯ ಪ್ರಿಯನಾದ ರಾಮನನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸುವ ರಾಮ ಗಾಯತ್ರೀ ಮಂತ್ರ: ಕನ್ನಡ, ದೇವನಾಗರಿ ಮತ್ತು IAST ಪಾಠ, ಪದಶಃ ಅರ್ಥ ಮತ್ತು ವಿವರಣೆ.

ದಶರಥನ ಮಗ, ಸೀತೆಯ ಪ್ರಿಯ ಎಂಬ ಎರಡು ಸಂಬಂಧಗಳ ಮೂಲಕವೇ ರಾಮನನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಧ್ಯಾನಿಸುವುದು ಇದರ ವಿಶೇಷ.

ಶ್ಲೋಕ (ಕನ್ನಡ)

ಓಂ ದಾಶರಥಾಯ ವಿದ್ಮಹೇ ಸೀತಾವಲ್ಲಭಾಯ ಧೀಮಹಿ ।
ತನ್ನೋ ರಾಮಃ ಪ್ರಚೋದಯಾತ್ ॥

ॐ दाशरथाय विद्महे सीतावल्लभाय धीमहि ।
तन्नो रामः प्रचोदयात् ॥

oṃ dāśarathāya vidmahe sītāvallabhāya dhīmahi |
tanno rāmaḥ pracodayāt ||

ತನ್ನೋ ರಾಮಃ ಪ್ರಚೋದಯಾತ್ (तन्नो रामः प्रचोदयात्, tanno rāmaḥ pracodayāt) = ಆ ರಾಮನು ನಮ್ಮ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಲಿ (may that Rama inspire our understanding)

ದಶರಥನ ಮಗನನ್ನು ನಾವು ಬಲ್ಲೆವು, ಸೀತೆಯ ಪ್ರಿಯನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಧ್ಯಾನಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಆ ರಾಮನು ನಮ್ಮ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಲಿ.

We know the son of Dasharatha, we meditate on the beloved of Sita. May that Rama inspire our understanding.

ಬೇರೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಗಾಯತ್ರಿಗಳು ದೇವತೆಯ ಆಯುಧ ಅಥವಾ ರೂಪವನ್ನು ವರ್ಣಿಸಿದರೆ, ಈ ಮಂತ್ರ ರಾಮನನ್ನು ಆತನ ಸಂಬಂಧಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಗುರುತಿಸುತ್ತದೆ, ತಂದೆಯ ಮಗ ಮತ್ತು ಪತಿಯಾಗಿ.

While most other gayatris describe a deity’s weapon or form, this mantra identifies Rama through his relationships, as a son and as a husband.

ರಾಮಾಯಣದ ಆದರ್ಶ ಪುತ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ಆದರ್ಶ ಪತಿಯ ಭಾವವನ್ನೇ ಈ ಎರಡು ಪದಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಡಿದಿಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.

This mantra quietly teaches that honouring every relationship with sincerity is itself a high ideal.
