ದೇವಿ, ಅಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳ ಅಂತರಂಗದ ಕತ್ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ಹೋಗಲಾಡಿಸಲು ನೀನು ಉದಯಿಸುವ ಸೂರ್ಯನ ಕಿರಣಗಳಂತಿದ್ದೀಯೆ. ಜಡ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯವರಿಗೆ ಚೈತನ್ಯವೆಂಬ ಹೂಗುಚ್ಛದಿಂದ ಹರಿಯುವ ಮಕರಂದದ ಪ್ರವಾಹದಂತಿದ್ದೀಯೆ. ದರಿದ್ರರಿಗೆ ನೀನು ಚಿಂತಾಮಣಿಗಳ ಸರಮಾಲೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದೀಯೆ. ಸಂಸಾರ ಸಾಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಳುಗಿದವರನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆತ್ತಲು, ನೀನು ವರಾಹ ರೂಪದ ವಿಷ್ಣುವಿನ ಕೋರೆಹಲ್ಲಿನಂತೆ ಆಧಾರವಾಗಿದ್ದೀಯೆ.

O Devi, for the ignorant, you are the sunrise that dispels the internal darkness. For the dull-witted, you are a flowing stream of nectar from the flower cluster of consciousness. For the poor, you are a necklace of wish-yielding gems (Chintamani). For those drowned in the ocean of worldly existence (Samsara), you are the supporting tusk of the Boar Avatar of Vishnu (Muraripu) that lifts them up.
