This is a short song in two parts. The first part begins with the resolve to bow always to Subrahmanya.
Both parts name his qualities one after another: giver of wishes, destroyer of the wicked, protector of the lowly, remover of the fear of worldly life. At the close there is a mention that Bharati Tirtha serves him.

I always bow to Subrahmanya, who is vowed to grant every wish one has thought of. He destroys wicked demons, leads the divine army, is intent on protecting the lowly, and is an ocean of compassion.
He removes the fear of worldly life and is the dear son of Bhavani. He gives both enjoyment and liberation as fruit, and is served by Bharati Tirtha.

This is a song from the Subrahmanya group on the website of the Sringeri Sri Sharada Peetham. The source names no author, so we name none. We give no date either.
We say only that the text has two parts. The source does not label them pallavi and charana. The name Bharati Tirtha in the second part appears as one who serves the Lord. We say nothing beyond that.
We see no doubtful reading here and keep the text as the source gives it.

For life today
Many of us have the habit of humming a tune to ourselves while working. The song does not stop the hands, and it keeps the mind light.
We can hum this short song in the same way. Even in the middle of the day’s work, the Lord’s name and qualities can stay in the mind as a calm note.
