ಬಿಎಪಿಎಸ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಐದನೆಯ ಗುರುಗಳಾದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಮಹಾರಾಜರ ಜನ್ಮದಿನವೇ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಮಹಾರಾಜ ಜಯಂತಿ. ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾರ್ಗಶಿರ ಶುಕ್ಲ ಅಷ್ಟಮಿಯಂದು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ಆಚರಿಸುವ ರೀತಿ
ಬಿಎಪಿಎಸ್ ಮಂದಿರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಸಭೆಗಳು, ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಸೇವಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳ ಸ್ಮರಣೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಮಹಾರಾಜರನ್ನು ನೆನೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಅನೇಕರು ಅವರ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇವಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಈ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ಕಥೆ
ಶಾಂತಿಲಾಲ್ ಪಟೇಲ್ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರಿನ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಮಹಾರಾಜರು 1921ರಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಜರಾತಿನ ಚಾಣಸದ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಿಸಿದರು. ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರೀಜಿ ಮಹಾರಾಜರು ಇವರನ್ನು 1950ರಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಎಪಿಎಸ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರನ್ನಾಗಿ (ಪ್ರಮುಖ) ನೇಮಿಸಿದರು; ನಂತರ ಇವರು 1971ರಿಂದ 2016ರವರೆಗೆ ಅದರ ಗುರುಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಗಾಂಧಿನಗರ ಮತ್ತು ದೆಹಲಿಯ ಅಕ್ಷರಧಾಮವೂ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಸಾವಿರಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಂದಿರಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದ ಇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ವಿನಮ್ರತೆಗೆ ಹೆಸರುವಾಸಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
ಅನುದಿನ ಕೊಡುವ ದಿನ
ಮಾರ್ಗಶಿರ ಮಾಸದ ಶುಕ್ಲ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಎಂಟನೆಯ ತಿಥಿಯಾದ ಮಾರ್ಗಶಿರ ಶುಕ್ಲ ಅಷ್ಟಮಿಯು ಸೂರ್ಯೋದಯದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಅನುದಿನ ಆ್ಯಪ್ ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ. 1921ಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹಿಂದಿನ ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುದಿನ ಯಾವುದೇ ದಿನವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಾಮಿನಾರಾಯಣ ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ ಓದುಗರು ಎಲ್ಲೇ ಇದ್ದರೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಈ ದಿನ ಕಾಣುತ್ತದೆ. ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಹಬ್ಬಗಳು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಕಾಣಿಸುತ್ತವೆ; ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ದಿನಗಳು ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತವೆ, ಅಷ್ಟೇ.

The story
Pramukh Swami Maharaj, Shantilal Patel, was born in 1921 at Chansad in Gujarat. Shastriji Maharaj made him the president, pramukh, of BAPS in 1950, and he was its guru from 1971 until 2016. He built over a thousand mandirs, among them Akshardham at Gandhinagar and Delhi, and was known for his humility.
Which day Anudina gives
Anudina gives the day on which Margashirsha shukla ashtami, the eighth tithi of the bright fortnight of Margashirsha, is running at sunrise. Anudina shows no day for years before 1921.
