ಫೂಲ್‌ಡೋಲ್ ಎಂಬುದು ಸ್ವಾಮಿನಾರಾಯಣ ಪರಂಪರೆಯ ಹೂವು ಮತ್ತು ಉಯ್ಯಾಲೆಗಳ ಹಬ್ಬ. ಬಣ್ಣದ ನೀರು ಮತ್ತು ಹೂವುಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಫಾಲ್ಗುಣ ಹುಣ್ಣಿಮೆಯ ದಿನ ಇದನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ಆಚರಿಸುವ ರೀತಿ
ಹೋಳಿಯಂದು ಸ್ವಾಮಿನಾರಾಯಣ ಭಕ್ತರು ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಸೇರಿ, ಭಗವಾನ್ ಸ್ವಾಮಿನಾರಾಯಣರು ಆಚರಿಸಿದಂತೆಯೇ ಬಣ್ಣದ ನೀರು ಮತ್ತು ಹೂವುಗಳಿಂದ ಆಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಸಾರಂಗಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ವೈಭವದಿಂದ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತದೆ; ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರುಗಳು ನೆರೆದ ಭಕ್ತರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಣ್ಣದ ನೀರನ್ನು ಚಿಮುಕಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ವಡತಾಲ ಮತ್ತು ಗಢಡಾದಲ್ಲೂ ಈ ಆಚರಣೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತದೆ. ದೇವರ ಮೂರ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಉಯ್ಯಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂರಿಸಿ ಹೂವುಗಳಿಂದ ಅಲಂಕರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ಕಥೆ
ಭಗವಾನ್ ಸ್ವಾಮಿನಾರಾಯಣರು ವಡತಾಲ, ಸಾರಂಗಪುರ ಮತ್ತು ಗಢಡಾಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಕ್ತರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬಣ್ಣಗಳನ್ನಾಡುತ್ತಾ, ಪ್ರವಚನಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತಾ ಹೂವು ಮತ್ತು ಉಯ್ಯಾಲೆಗಳ ಹಬ್ಬವಾದ ಫೂಲ್‌ಡೋಲ್ ಆಚರಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಮಿನಾರಾಯಣ ಧರ್ಮಗ್ರಂಥಗಳು ವರ್ಣಿಸುತ್ತವೆ. ಈ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯ ಈ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಅವರು ಆಚರಿಸಿದಂತೆಯೇ, ಮೋಜಿನ ಹಬ್ಬವಾಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಭಕ್ತಿಯ ಹಬ್ಬವಾಗಿ ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

ಸೂರ್ಯೋದಯದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಫಾಲ್ಗುಣ ಹುಣ್ಣಿಮೆ ಇರುವ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಅನುದಿನ ಆ್ಯಪ್ ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ.
ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಾಮಿನಾರಾಯಣ ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಓದುಗರಿಗೆ, ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲೇ ಇದ್ದರೂ ಅನುದಿನ ಇದನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಹಬ್ಬಗಳು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಕಾಣಿಸುತ್ತವೆ; ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ದಿನಗಳು ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತವೆ, ಅಷ್ಟೇ.

How it is kept
Swaminarayan devotees gather at Holi to play with coloured water and flowers, as Bhagwan Swaminarayan did. The great celebration is at Sarangpur, where the guru sprinkles coloured water on the assembled devotees, and at Vadtal and Gadhada. The deities are seated on swings and decorated with flowers.
The story
The Swaminarayan scriptures describe Bhagwan Swaminarayan celebrating Fuldol, the festival of flowers and swings, at Vadtal, Sarangpur and Gadhada, playing colours with the devotees and giving discourses. The sampradaya keeps the festival as he kept it, as a festival of devotion rather than of revelry.
