ಗುಣಾತೀತಾನಂದ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಜಯಂತಿಯು ಗುಣಾತೀತಾನಂದ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಗಳವರ ಜನ್ಮದಿನ. ಬಿಎಪಿಎಸ್ ಪರಂಪರೆಯು ಇವರನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಗುರುಪರಂಪರೆಯ ಮೊದಲ ಗುರುವೆಂದು ನಂಬುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದನ್ನು ಶರದ್ ಪೂರ್ಣಿಮೆಯಂದು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ಆಚರಿಸುವ ರೀತಿ
ಬಿಎಪಿಎಸ್ ಮಂದಿರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶರದ್ ಪೂರ್ಣಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಅಕ್ಷರಬ್ರಹ್ಮ ಗುಣಾತೀತಾನಂದ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಗಳ ಜನ್ಮದಿನವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ; ರಾತ್ರಿ ಸಭೆ, ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು, ಆರತಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಂದ್ರನ ಬೆಳಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದೂಧ್ ಪೌವಾ (ಹಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನೆನೆಸಿದ ಅವಲಕ್ಕಿ) ನೈವೇದ್ಯ ಮಾಡಿ ನಂತರ ಪ್ರಸಾದವಾಗಿ ಹಂಚುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ಕಥೆ
ಗುಣಾತೀತಾನಂದ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಗಳು (ಮೂಲ ಹೆಸರು ಮೂಲ್ಜೀ) 1785ರಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಜರಾತಿನ ಭಾದ್ರಾದಲ್ಲಿ, ಶರದ್ ಪೂರ್ಣಿಮೆಯಂದು ಜನಿಸಿದರು. ಭಗವಾನ್ ಸ್ವಾಮಿನಾರಾಯಣರು ಇವರಿಗೆ ದೀಕ್ಷೆ ನೀಡಿದರು; ಇವರು ಜುನಾಗಢ ಮಂದಿರದ ಮಹಂತರಾಗಿ ಸುಮಾರು ನಲವತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು. ಬಿಎಪಿಎಸ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ಇವರನ್ನು ಅಕ್ಷರಬ್ರಹ್ಮನೆಂದೂ, ತನ್ನ ಗುರುಪರಂಪರೆಯ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಗುರುವೆಂದೂ ಗೌರವಿಸುತ್ತದೆ; ಇವರ ಪ್ರವಚನಗಳ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ವಾಮಿನೀ ವಾತೋ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರು.
ಅನುದಿನ ಕೊಡುವ ದಿನ
ಶರದ್ ಪೂರ್ಣಿಮೆಯ ಸಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನೀಡುವಂತೆಯೇ, ಮಧ್ಯರಾತ್ರಿಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಶ್ವಯುಜ ಹುಣ್ಣಿಮೆ (ಶರದ್ ಪೂರ್ಣಿಮೆ) ಇರುವ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಅನುದಿನ ಆ್ಯಪ್ ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ. 1785ಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹಿಂದಿನ ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುದಿನ ಯಾವುದೇ ದಿನವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಾಮಿನಾರಾಯಣ ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಓದುಗರಿಗೆ, ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲೇ ಇದ್ದರೂ ಅನುದಿನ ಇದನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಹಬ್ಬಗಳು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಕಾಣಿಸುತ್ತವೆ; ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ದಿನಗಳು ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತವೆ, ಅಷ್ಟೇ.
ಈ ನಿಯಮವನ್ನು 2025ರ ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 6, 2026ರ ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 25 ಮತ್ತು 2027ರ ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 14ರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ (BAPS) ಹೋಲಿಸಿ ನೋಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ.

BAPS mandirs keep Sharad Purnima as the birthday of Aksharbrahma Gunatitanand Swami, with an assembly at night, kirtans, an arti, and dudh pauva, flattened rice in milk, offered in the moonlight and then shared.
The story
Gunatitanand Swami, Mulji, was born in 1785 at Bhadra in Gujarat, on Sharad Purnima. Bhagwan Swaminarayan initiated him, and he served as the mahant of the Junagadh mandir for some forty years. BAPS reveres him as Aksharbrahman, the first in its line of gurus, and his talks are gathered as the Swamini Vato.
Which day Anudina gives
Anudina gives the day on which the Ashvina purnima, Sharad Purnima, is running at midnight, as it does for the Sharad Purnima row itself. Anudina shows no day for years before 1785.
Anudina shows it to readers who tick the Swaminarayan lineage in the Tradition sheet, wherever they are. The general festivals are always shown; a lineage only adds days.
