ಲಲಿತಾ ಜಯಂತಿಯು ಜಗನ್ಮಾತೆ ಲಲಿತಾ ತ್ರಿಪುರಸುಂದರಿಯ ದೇವಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ದಿನ. ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಘ ಮಾಸದ ಹುಣ್ಣಿಮೆಯಂದು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ಆಚರಿಸುವ ರೀತಿ
ದೇವಿ ಭಕ್ತರು, ಅದರಲ್ಲೂ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀವಿದ್ಯಾ ಪರಂಪರೆಯವರು ಮಾಘ ಹುಣ್ಣಿಮೆಯಂದು ಲಲಿತಾ ತ್ರಿಪುರಸುಂದರಿಯನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಲಲಿತಾ ಸಹಸ್ರನಾಮ ಪಠಣ, ಕುಂಕುಮಾರ್ಚನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಚಕ್ರ ಪೂಜೆಗಳು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತವೆ. ಪೂಜೆ ಮುಗಿಯುವವರೆಗೆ ಅನೇಕರು ಉಪವಾಸವಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ಕಥೆ
ಕಾಮನ ಭಸ್ಮದಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಭಂಡಾಸುರನನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಲು ದೇವತೆಗಳು ಮಾಡಿದ ಯಾಗದ ಅಗ್ನಿಯಿಂದ ದೇವಿಯು ಲಲಿತೆಯಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಗೊಂಡಳು ಮತ್ತು ಆಕೆ ಶ್ರೀಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಸಿ ಆಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಳೆ ಎಂದು ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾಂಡ ಪುರಾಣದ ಲಲಿತೋಪಾಖ್ಯಾನ ಹೇಳುತ್ತದೆ. ದೇವಿಯ ಸಾವಿರ ನಾಮಗಳಿರುವ ಲಲಿತಾ ಸಹಸ್ರನಾಮವೂ ಇದೇ ಗ್ರಂಥದಿಂದ ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಆಕೆ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾದ ದಿನವೆಂದು ಮಾಘ ಹುಣ್ಣಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಪರಂಪರೆ ಆಚರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದಿದೆ.
ಅನುದಿನ ಕೊಡುವ ದಿನ
ಸೂರ್ಯೋದಯದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಘ ಹುಣ್ಣಿಮೆ ಇರುವ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಅನುದಿನ ಆ್ಯಪ್ ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಶರನ್ನವರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವ ಲಲಿತಾ ಪಂಚಮಿಯು ಬೇರೆಯೇ ಆಚರಣೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ತನ್ನದೇ ಆದ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ಪುಟವಿದೆ.
ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಕ್ತ ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಓದುಗರಿಗೆ, ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲೇ ಇದ್ದರೂ ಅನುದಿನ ಇದನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಹಬ್ಬಗಳು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಕಾಣಿಸುತ್ತವೆ; ಪರಂಪರೆಯ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯು ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಸೇರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

How it is kept
Devotees of the Devi, and above all those of the Sri Vidya tradition, worship Lalita Tripurasundari on the full moon of Magha. The Lalita Sahasranama is chanted, often with kumkuma archana, and the Sri Chakra is worshipped. Many fast until the puja is done.
The story
The Lalitopakhyana of the Brahmanda Purana tells that the Goddess rose as Lalita from the fire of the gods’ sacrifice to destroy Bhandasura, born of the ashes of Kama, and that she reigns in Sripura. The Lalita Sahasranama, her thousand names, comes from the same work. Tradition keeps the Magha full moon as the day of her appearance.
Which day Anudina gives
Anudina gives the day on which the Magha purnima is running at sunrise. Lalita Panchami, in the autumn Navaratri, is a different observance with a page of its own.
Anudina shows it to readers who tick the Shakta lineage in the Tradition sheet, wherever they are. The general festivals are always shown; a lineage only adds days.
