ಭಕ್ತಿಸಿದ್ಧಾಂತ ಸರಸ್ವತಿ ಆವಿರ್ಭಾವ ದಿನವು ಗೌಡೀಯ ಮಠವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದ ಭಕ್ತಿಸಿದ್ಧಾಂತ ಸರಸ್ವತಿಯವರ ಜನ್ಮದಿನ. ಇದನ್ನು ಫಾಲ್ಗುಣ ಹುಣ್ಣಿಮೆಗೆ ಮುಂಚಿನ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಪಕ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ಆಚರಿಸುವ ರೀತಿ
ಗೌಡೀಯ ಮಠ ಮತ್ತು ಇಸ್ಕಾನ್ ಭಕ್ತರು ಈ ದಿನ ಅವರ ವ್ಯಾಸಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ: ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನದವರೆಗೆ ಉಪವಾಸವಿದ್ದು, ಗುರುವಂದನೆಯ ಬರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಓದುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಭೋಜನವನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಮಾಯಾಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಈ ಎರಡೂ ಪರಂಪರೆಗಳ ದೇವಾಲಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ಕಥೆ
ಭಕ್ತಿಸಿದ್ಧಾಂತ ಸರಸ್ವತಿಯವರು ಭಕ್ತಿವಿನೋದ ಠಾಕುರರ ಪುತ್ರರಾಗಿ 1874ರಲ್ಲಿ ಪುರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಿಸಿದರು. ವಿದ್ವಾಂಸರೂ ಖಗೋಳಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಜ್ಞರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದ ಇವರು ಸಂನ್ಯಾಸ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿ, 1920ರಲ್ಲಿ ಗೌಡೀಯ ಮಠವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದರು; ಅದು ಬೆಳೆದು ಅರವತ್ತನಾಲ್ಕು ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳಾದವು. ಯುರೋಪಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಚಾರಕರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ ಇವರು, ಮುಂದೆ ಶ್ರೀಲ ಪ್ರಭುಪಾದರೆಂದು ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧರಾದ ಯುವಕ ಅಭಯ್ ಚರಣ್ ದೇ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಚಾರ ಮಾಡಲು ಸೂಚಿಸಿದರು.
ಅನುದಿನ ಕೊಡುವ ದಿನ
ಅಮಾಂತ ಗಣನೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾಘ ಮತ್ತು ಪೂರ್ಣಿಮಾಂತ ಗಣನೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಫಾಲ್ಗುಣವಾಗಿರುವ ತಿಂಗಳ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಪಂಚಮಿ ತಿಥಿಯು ಸೂರ್ಯೋದಯಕ್ಕೆ ಇರುವ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಅನುದಿನ ಆ್ಯಪ್ ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ. 1874ಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹಿಂದಿನ ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುದಿನ ಯಾವುದೇ ದಿನವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಗೌಡೀಯ (ಇಸ್ಕಾನ್) ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಓದುಗರು ಎಲ್ಲೇ ಇದ್ದರೂ ಅನುದಿನ ಇದನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಹಬ್ಬಗಳು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಕಾಣಿಸುತ್ತವೆ; ಪರಂಪರೆಯ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯು ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸುತ್ತದೆಯಷ್ಟೇ.
ಈ ನಿಯಮವನ್ನು 2026ರ ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 6 (Drik Panchang, Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math ಮತ್ತು ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಪಂಚಾಂಗ) ಹಾಗೂ 2027ರ ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 25ರ ದಿನಾಂಕಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ತಾಳೆ ನೋಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ (Drik Panchang, ISKCON Bangalore).

Gaudiya Math and ISKCON devotees keep his Vyasa Puja: they fast until noon, read offerings of homage, sing kirtanas and share a feast. The day is kept at Mayapur and in the temples of both traditions.
The story
Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati was born in 1874 at Puri, a son of Bhaktivinoda Thakura. A scholar and astronomer, he took sannyasa and in 1920 founded the Gaudiya Math, which grew to sixty four centres. He sent preachers to Europe and asked the young Abhay Charan De, later Srila Prabhupada, to preach in English.
Which day Anudina gives
Anudina gives the day on which the fifth tithi of the dark fortnight is running at sunrise, in the month that is Magha by the amanta count and Phalguna by the purnimanta count. Anudina shows no day for years before 1874.
Anudina shows it to readers who tick the Gaudiya (ISKCON) lineage in the Tradition sheet, wherever they are. The general festivals are always shown; a lineage only adds days.
