ಭಕ್ತಿವಿನೋದ ಠಾಕುರ ಆವಿರ್ಭಾವ ದಿನವು ಗೌಡೀಯ ಪರಂಪರೆಯ ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ನಾಂದಿ ಹಾಡಿದ ಭಕ್ತಿವಿನೋದ ಠಾಕುರರ ಜನ್ಮದಿನವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಇದನ್ನು ಭಾದ್ರಪದ ಶುಕ್ಲ ತ್ರಯೋದಶಿಯಂದು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ಆಚರಿಸುವ ರೀತಿ
ಗೌಡೀಯ ವೈಷ್ಣವರು ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನದವರೆಗೆ ಉಪವಾಸವಿದ್ದು, ತಮ್ಮ ದೇವಾಲಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ಹಾಡುವ ಅವರ ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಜೀವನ ಚರಿತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ಓದುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಈ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಮಾಯಾಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ, ಗೋದ್ರುಮದ್ವೀಪದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅವರ ಮನೆಯಾದ ಸ್ವಾನಂದ ಸುಖದ ಕುಂಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಗೌಡೀಯ ಮಠ ಮತ್ತು ಇಸ್ಕಾನ್ ದೇವಾಲಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ಕಥೆ
ಭಕ್ತಿವಿನೋದ ಠಾಕುರ ಎಂದೇ ಹೆಸರಾದ ಕೇದಾರನಾಥ ದತ್ತ ಅವರು 1838ರಲ್ಲಿ ನಾದಿಯಾದ ಉಲಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಿಸಿದರು. ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷರ ಆಡಳಿತದಲ್ಲಿ ಡೆಪ್ಯುಟಿ ಮ್ಯಾಜಿಸ್ಟ್ರೇಟ್ ಆಗಿದ್ದ ಅವರು, ಭಕ್ತಿಯ ಕುರಿತು ನೂರಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳನ್ನು ರಚಿಸಿದರು, ಮಾಯಾಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀಚೈತನ್ಯರ ಜನ್ಮಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಗೌಡೀಯ ಪರಂಪರೆಯ ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನವನ್ನು ಶುರು ಮಾಡಿದರು; ಮುಂದೆ ಅವರ ಮಗ ಭಕ್ತಿಸಿದ್ಧಾಂತ ಸರಸ್ವತಿಯವರು ಅದನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಿದರು.
ಅನುದಿನ ಕೊಡುವ ದಿನ
ಸೂರ್ಯೋದಯದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾದ್ರಪದ ಮಾಸದ ಶುಕ್ಲ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಹದಿಮೂರನೇ ತಿಥಿಯಾದ ಭಾದ್ರಪದ ಶುಕ್ಲ ತ್ರಯೋದಶಿ ಇರುವ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಅನುದಿನ ಆ್ಯಪ್ ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ. 1838ಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹಿಂದಿನ ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುದಿನ ಯಾವುದೇ ದಿನವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಗೌಡೀಯ (ಇಸ್ಕಾನ್) ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಓದುಗರಿಗೆ, ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲೇ ಇದ್ದರೂ ಅನುದಿನ ಇದನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಹಬ್ಬಗಳು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಕಾಣಿಸುತ್ತವೆ; ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ದಿನಗಳು ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತವೆ, ಅಷ್ಟೇ.

The story
Kedarnath Datta, Bhaktivinoda Thakura, was born in 1838 at Ula in Nadia. A deputy magistrate under the British, he wrote over a hundred books and songs on devotion, located Sri Chaitanya’s birthplace at Mayapur and began the revival of the Gaudiya tradition that his son, Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati, carried on.

Anudina gives the day on which Bhadrapada shukla trayodashi, the thirteenth tithi of the bright fortnight of Bhadrapada, is running at sunrise. Anudina shows no day for years before 1838.
