ಸಂತ ಜ್ಞಾನೇಶ್ವರ ಸಮಾಧಿ ದಿನವು ಮರಾಠಿ ಸಂತ ಜ್ಞಾನೇಶ್ವರರು ಪುಣೆ ಸಮೀಪದ ಆಳಂದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಜೀವನ ಸಮಾಧಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದ ದಿನ. ಇದನ್ನು ಕಾರ್ತಿಕ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ತ್ರಯೋದಶಿಯಂದು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ಆಚರಿಸುವ ರೀತಿ
ಪುಣೆ ಸಮೀಪದ ಆಳಂದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ಸಂಜೀವನ ಸಮಾಧಿ ಸೋಹಳಾಕ್ಕೆ ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ವಾರಕರಿಗಳು ಬರುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕರು ಕಾರ್ತಿಕಿ ಏಕಾದಶಿಯ ನಂತರ ಪಂಢರಪುರದಿಂದ ಕಾಲ್ನಡಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲೇ ಸಾಗಿ ಬರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು, ಜ್ಞಾನೇಶ್ವರೀ ಪಾರಾಯಣ ಮತ್ತು ಪಾಲ್ಕಿ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಗಳು ದಿನವಿಡೀ ತುಂಬಿರುತ್ತವೆ; ಕಾರ್ತಿಕ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ತ್ರಯೋದಶಿಯಂದು ಸಮಾಧಿಗೆ ಪೂಜೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತದೆ.
ಕಥೆ
ಸಂತ ಜ್ಞಾನೇಶ್ವರರು ಚಿಕ್ಕ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲೇ ಗೀತೆಯ ಮರಾಠಿ ಪದ್ಯರೂಪದ ವ್ಯಾಖ್ಯಾನವಾದ ಜ್ಞಾನೇಶ್ವರಿಯನ್ನು ಬರೆದರು. 1296ರಲ್ಲಿ, ಸುಮಾರು ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೊಂದು ವರ್ಷದ ಪ್ರಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ, ಅವರು ಆಳಂದಿಯ ಒಂದು ಕೋಣೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ಸಮಾಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತರು; ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಆ ಕೋಣೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿದರು. ಅವರು ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಸಂಜೀವನ ಸಮಾಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದೇ ವಾರಕರಿಗಳು ನಂಬುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಅವರು ಸಮಾಧಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದ ಆ ದಿನವನ್ನೇ ಹೀಗೆ ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ಅನುದಿನ ಕೊಡುವ ದಿನ
ಸೂರ್ಯೋದಯದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ತಿಕ ಮಾಸದ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಹದಿಮೂರನೇ ತಿಥಿಯಾದ ಕಾರ್ತಿಕ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ತ್ರಯೋದಶಿ ಇರುವ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಅನುದಿನ ಆ್ಯಪ್ ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಎರಡು ದಿನಗಳ ಸೂರ್ಯೋದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ತಿಥಿ ಇದ್ದರೆ, ಮೊದಲ ದಿನವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ.
ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾರಕರಿ ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಓದುಗರಿಗೆ, ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲೇ ಇದ್ದರೂ ಅನುದಿನ ಇದನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಹಬ್ಬಗಳು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಕಾಣಿಸುತ್ತವೆ; ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ದಿನಗಳು ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತವೆ, ಅಷ್ಟೇ.
ಈ ನಿಯಮವನ್ನು 2024ರ ನವೆಂಬರ್ 28 ಮತ್ತು 2025ರ ನವೆಂಬರ್ 17ರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ (ಆಲ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ರೇಡಿಯೋ ಪುಣೆ ಬುಲೆಟಿನ್‌ಗಳು) ಹೋಲಿಸಿ ನೋಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ.

How it is kept
At Alandi, near Pune, the Sanjivan Samadhi Sohala draws lakhs of Varkaris, many of whom walk from Pandharpur after Kartiki Ekadashi. Kirtans, the reading of the Dnyaneshwari and a procession of the palkhi fill the days, and the samadhi is worshipped on the thirteenth of dark Kartika.
The story
Sant Dnyaneshwar wrote the Dnyaneshwari, a commentary on the Gita in Marathi verse, as a youth. In 1296, at about twenty one, he entered a chamber at Alandi and sat in samadhi, and it was closed over him. Varkaris hold that he is still in living samadhi, sanjivan samadhi, and the day is kept as that entry.
Which day Anudina gives
Anudina gives the day on which Kartika krishna trayodashi, the thirteenth tithi of the dark fortnight of Kartika, is running at sunrise. When the tithi runs at sunrise on two days, the first is taken.
Anudina shows it to readers who tick the Varkari lineage in the Tradition sheet, wherever they are. The general festivals are always shown; a lineage only adds days.
