ಅಸೌ ನಾಸಾವಂಶಃ ತುಹಿನಗಿರಿವಂಶಧ್ವಜಪಟಿ
ತ್ವದೀಯೋ ನೇದೀಯಃ ಫಲತು ಫಲಮಸ್ಮಾಕಮುಚಿತಮ್ ।
ವಹನ್ನಂತರ್ಮುಕ್ತಾಃ ಶಿಶಿರತರನಿಶ್ವಾಸಗಲಿತಂ
ಸಮೃದ್ಧ್ಯಾ ಯತ್ತಾಸಾಂ ಬಹಿರಪಿ ಚ ಮುಕ್ತಾಮಣಿಧರಃ ॥ 61 ॥
ಶ್ಲೋಕ (ದೇವನಾಗರಿ)
असौ नासावंशः तुहिनगिरिवंशध्वजपटि
त्वदीयो नेदीयः फलतु फलमस्माकमुचितम् ।
वहन्नन्तर्मुक्ताः शिशिरतरनिश्वासगलितं
समृद्ध्या यत्तासां बहिरपि च मुक्तामणिधरः ॥ 61 ॥
ಶ್ಲೋಕ (IAST)
asau nāsāvaṃśaḥ tuhinagirivaṃśadhvajapaṭi
tvadīyo nedīyaḥ phalatu phalamasmākamucitam |
vahannantarmuktāḥ śiśirataraniśvāsagalitaṃ
samṛddhyā yattāsāṃ bahirapi ca muktāmaṇidharaḥ || 61 ||
ಪದಶಃ ಅರ್ಥ
- ಅಸೌ (असौ, asau) = ಈ (this)
- ನಾಸಾವಂಶಃ (नासावंशः, nāsāvaṃśaḥ) = ಬಿದಿರಿನ ದಂಡೆಯಂತಿರುವ ಮೂಗು (the nose, straight as a bamboo stem)
- ತುಹಿನಗಿರಿವಂಶಧ್ವಜಪಟಿ (तुहिनगिरिवंशध्वजपटि, tuhinagirivaṃśadhvajapaṭi) = ಹಿಮವಂತನ ವಂಶದ ಧ್ವಜಪಟವೇ (O banner of the Himalaya’s line)
- ತ್ವದೀಯಃ (त्वदीयः, tvadīyaḥ) = ನಿನ್ನ (your)
- ನೇದೀಯಃ (नेदीयः, nedīyaḥ) = ಬೇಗನೆ (soon)
- ಫಲತು (फलतु, phalatu) = ಕೊಡಲಿ (may it bestow)
- ಫಲಂ ಅಸ್ಮಾಕಂ ಉಚಿತಮ್ (फलम् अस्माकम् उचितम्, phalam asmākam ucitam) = ನಮಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಫಲವನ್ನು (the fruit that befits us)
- ವಹನ್ (वहन्, vahan) = ಹೊತ್ತಿರುವ (holding)
- ಅಂತಃ ಮುಕ್ತಾಃ (अन्तः मुक्ताः, antaḥ muktāḥ) = ಒಳಗೆ ಮುತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು (pearls within)
- ಶಿಶಿರತರನಿಶ್ವಾಸಗಲಿತಂ (शिशिरतरनिश्वासगलितं, śiśirataraniśvāsagalitaṃ) = ತಂಪಾದ ಉಸಿರಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹೊರಬಂದ (carried out on the cool breath)
- ಸಮೃದ್ಧ್ಯಾ (समृद्ध्या, samṛddhyā) = ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯಿಂದ (from the abundance)
- ಯತ್ ತಾಸಾಂ (यत् तासां, yat tāsāṃ) = ಅವುಗಳ (of them)
- ಬಹಿಃ ಅಪಿ ಚ (बहिः अपि च, bahiḥ api ca) = ಹೊರಗೂ (outside as well)
- ಮುಕ್ತಾಮಣಿಧರಃ (मुक्तामणिधरः, muktāmaṇidharaḥ) = ಮುತ್ತಿನ ಮೂಗುತಿಯನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿದೆ (bears a pearl ornament)
ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಅರ್ಥ (ಕನ್ನಡ)
ಹಿಮವಂತನ ವಂಶದ ಧ್ವಜಪಟದಂತಿರುವವಳೇ, ಬಿದಿರಿನ ದಂಡೆಯಂತಿರುವ ನಿನ್ನ ಮೂಗು ನಮಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಫಲವನ್ನು ಬೇಗನೆ ಕೊಡಲಿ. ಬಿದಿರಿನೊಳಗೆ ಮುತ್ತು ಹುಟ್ಟುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬ ಮಾತಿದೆ. ಅದರಂತೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಮೂಗಿನೊಳಗೂ ಮುತ್ತುಗಳು ತುಂಬಿವೆ. ಅವು ಎಷ್ಟು ಸಮೃದ್ಧವಾಗಿವೆಯೆಂದರೆ, ತಂಪಾದ ಉಸಿರಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಮುತ್ತು ಹೊರಬಂದು ಮೂಗುತಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೊರಗೂ ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಅರ್ಥ (ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್)
Banner of the Himalaya’s line, may your nose, straight as a bamboo stem, soon bestow on us the fruit that befits us. It holds pearls within, as bamboo is said to, and they are so abundant that one of them, carried out on your cool breath, is worn outside as well, as the pearl of your nose-ornament.
