ಅರಾಲಾ ಕೇಶೇಷು ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಸರಲಾ ಮಂದಹಸಿತೇ
ಶಿರೀಷಾಭಾ ಚಿತ್ತೇ ದೃಷದುಪಲಶೋಭಾ ಕುಚತಟೇ ।
ಭೃಶಂ ತನ್ವೀ ಮಧ್ಯೇ ಪೃಥುರುರಸಿಜಾರೋಹವಿಷಯೇ
ಜಗತ್ತ್ರಾತುಂ ಶಂಭೋ-ರ್ಜಯತಿ ಕರುಣಾ ಕಾಚಿದರುಣಾ ॥ 93 ॥
ಶ್ಲೋಕ (ದೇವನಾಗರಿ)
अराला केशेषु प्रकृतिसरला मन्दहसिते
शिरीषाभा चित्ते दृषदुपलशोभा कुचतटे ।
भृशं तन्वी मध्ये पृथुरुरसिजारोहविषये
जगत्त्रातुं शम्भोर्जयति करुणा काचिदरुणा ॥ 93 ॥

śirīṣābhā citte dṛṣadupalaśobhā kucataṭe |
bhṛśaṃ tanvī madhye pṛthururasijārohaviṣaye

ಪದಶಃ ಅರ್ಥ
- ಅರಾಲಾ ಕೇಶೇಷು (अराला केशेषु, arālā keśeṣu) = ಕೂದಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಂಗುರಾಗಿರುವ (curling in her hair)
- ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಸರಲಾ ಮಂದಹಸಿತೇ (प्रकृतिसरला मन्दहसिते, prakṛtisaralā mandahasite) = ಮಂದಹಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹಜವಾಗಿ ನೇರವಾದ (naturally open in her gentle smile)
- ಶಿರೀಷಾಭಾ ಚಿತ್ತೇ (शिरीषाभा चित्ते, śirīṣābhā citte) = ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಗೆಯ ಹೂವಿನಂತೆ ಮೃದುವಾದ (soft as the shirisha flower in her heart)
- ದೃಷದುಪಲಶೋಭಾ ಕುಚತಟೇ (दृषदुपलशोभा कुचतटे, dṛṣadupalaśobhā kucataṭe) = ಸ್ತನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲ್ಲಿನಂತೆ ದೃಢವಾದ (firm as stone in her breasts)
- ಭೃಶಂ ತನ್ವೀ ಮಧ್ಯೇ (भृशं तन्वी मध्ये, bhṛśaṃ tanvī madhye) = ನಡುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ತೆಳುವಾದ (very slender at the waist)
- ಪೃಥುಃ ಉರಸಿಜಾರೋಹವಿಷಯೇ (पृथुः उरसिजारोहविषये, pṛthuḥ urasijārohaviṣaye) = ಎದೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಿತಂಬಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶಾಲವಾದ (full in breast and hip)
- ಜಗತ್ ತ್ರಾತುಂ (जगत् त्रातुं, jagat trātuṃ) = ಜಗತ್ತನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಲು (to protect the world)
- ಶಂಭೋಃ (शम्भोः, śambhoḥ) = ಶಂಭುವಿನ (of Shambhu)
- ಜಯತಿ (जयति, jayati) = ಮೆರೆಯುತ್ತದೆ (reigns)
- ಕರುಣಾ (करुणा, karuṇā) = ಕರುಣೆ (compassion)
- ಕಾಚಿತ್ (काचित्, kācit) = ಹೇಳಲಾಗದ (indescribable)
- ಅರುಣಾ (अरुणा, aruṇā) = ಕೆಂಪು ಬಣ್ಣದ (red in hue)
ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಅರ್ಥ (ಕನ್ನಡ)
ಕೂದಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಂಗುರಾಗಿ, ಮಂದಹಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹಜವಾಗಿ ನೇರವಾಗಿ, ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಗೆಯ ಹೂವಿನಷ್ಟು ಮೃದುವಾಗಿ, ಸ್ತನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲ್ಲಿನಂತೆ ದೃಢವಾಗಿ, ನಡುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ತೆಳುವಾಗಿ, ಎದೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಿತಂಬಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶಾಲವಾಗಿರುವ, ಕೆಂಪು ಬಣ್ಣದ, ಹೇಳಲಾಗದ ಶಂಭುವಿನ ಕರುಣೆಯೇ ನೀನು. ಜಗತ್ತನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಲೆಂದು ನೀನು ಮೆರೆಯುತ್ತೀ.
ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಅರ್ಥ (ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್)
Curling in her hair, naturally open in her gentle smile, soft as the shirisha flower in her heart, firm as stone in her breasts, very slender at the waist and full in breast and hip: you are Shambhu’s indescribable compassion, red in hue, and you reign supreme to protect the world.
