गते कर्णाभ्यर्णं गरुत इव पक्ष्माणि दधती
पुरां भेत्तुश्चित्तप्रशमरसविद्रावणफले ।
इमे नेत्रे गोत्राधरपतिकुलोत्तंसकलिके
तवाकर्णाकृष्ट स्मरशरविलासं कलयतः ॥ 52 ॥

ಪದಶಃ ಅರ್ಥ

ಗತೇ ಕರ್ಣಾಭ್ಯರ್ಣಂ (गते कर्णाभ्यर्णं, gate karṇābhyarṇaṃ) = ಕಿವಿಯವರೆಗೂ ಚಾಚಿರುವ (reaching up to the ears)
ಗರುತಃ ಇವ (गरुतः इव, garutaḥ iva) = ಬಾಣದ ಗರಿಗಳಂತೆ (like the feathers of an arrow)
ಪಕ್ಷ್ಮಾಣಿ (पक्ष्माणि, pakṣmāṇi) = ರೆಪ್ಪೆಗೂದಲುಗಳನ್ನು (the eyelashes)
ದಧತೀ (दधती, dadhatī) = ಹೊಂದಿರುವ (bearing)
ಪುರಾಂ ಭೇತ್ತುಃ (पुरां भेत्तुः, purāṃ bhettuḥ) = ತ್ರಿಪುರಗಳನ್ನು ಭೇದಿಸಿದ ಶಿವನ (of Shiva, who shattered the three cities)
ಚಿತ್ತಪ್ರಶಮರಸ (चित्तप्रशमरस, cittapraśamarasa) = ಮನಸ್ಸಿನ ಶಾಂತಭಾವವನ್ನು (the calm of the mind)
ವಿದ್ರಾವಣಫಲೇ (विद्रावणफले, vidrāvaṇaphale) = ಕದಡುವುದೇ ಫಲವಾಗಿರುವ (whose aim is to put to flight)
ಇಮೇ ನೇತ್ರೇ (इमे नेत्रे, ime netre) = ಈ ಎರಡು ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು (these two eyes)
ಗೋತ್ರಾಧರಪತಿ (गोत्राधरपति, gotrādharapati) = ಪರ್ವತರಾಜ ಹಿಮವಂತನ (of the king of mountains)
ಕುಲೋತ್ತಂಸಕಲಿಕೇ (कुलोत्तंसकलिके, kulottaṃsakalike) = ವಂಶದ ಮುಡಿಗೇರಿದ ಮೊಗ್ಗಿನಂತಿರುವವಳೇ (O bud that crowns the lineage)
ತವ (तव, tava) = ನಿನ್ನ (your)
ಆಕರ್ಣಾಕೃಷ್ಟ (आकर्णाकृष्ट, ākarṇākṛṣṭa) = ಕಿವಿಯವರೆಗೂ ಎಳೆದ (drawn back to the ear)

ಕಲಯತಃ (कलयतः, kalayataḥ) = ತೋರುತ್ತವೆ (carry)

ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಅರ್ಥ (ಕನ್ನಡ)

ಪರ್ವತರಾಜನ ವಂಶದ ಮುಡಿಗೇರಿದ ಮೊಗ್ಗಿನಂತಿರುವವಳೇ, ಕಿವಿಯವರೆಗೂ ಚಾಚಿರುವ ನಿನ್ನ ಈ ಎರಡು ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳ ರೆಪ್ಪೆಗೂದಲುಗಳು ಬಾಣದ ಗರಿಗಳಂತಿವೆ. ತ್ರಿಪುರಗಳನ್ನು ಭೇದಿಸಿದ ಶಿವನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನ ಶಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಕದಡುವುದೇ ಅವುಗಳ ಗುರಿ. ಹೀಗೆ ಅವು ಕಿವಿಯವರೆಗೂ ಎಳೆದು ಹೂಡಿದ ಮನ್ಮಥನ ಬಾಣಗಳಂತೆ ಶೋಭಿಸುತ್ತವೆ.

ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಅರ್ಥ (ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್)

O bud that crowns the lineage of the king of mountains, your two eyes stretch back to your ears, and their lashes are like the feathers on an arrow. Their aim is to unsettle the calm in the mind of Shiva, the destroyer of the three cities. So they carry the grace of Kama’s arrows, drawn back all the way to the ear.
