ಗಿರಾಂ ದೇವೀಂ (गिरां देवीं, girāṃ devīṃ) = ವಾಗ್ದೇವಿ ಎಂದು (as the goddess of speech)
ಆಹುಃ (आहुः, āhuḥ) = ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ (they call you)
ದ್ರುಹಿಣಗೃಹಿಣೀಂ (द्रुहिणगृहिणीं, druhiṇagṛhiṇīṃ) = ಬ್ರಹ್ಮನ ಪತ್ನಿ (the wife of Brahma)
ಆಗಮವಿದಃ (आगमविदः, āgamavidaḥ) = ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಬಲ್ಲವರು (those who know the scriptures)
ಹರೇಃ ಪತ್ನೀಂ (हरेः पत्नीं, hareḥ patnīṃ) = ವಿಷ್ಣುವಿನ ಪತ್ನಿ (the wife of Vishnu)
ಪದ್ಮಾಂ (पद्मां, padmāṃ) = ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ಎಂದು (as Padma, Lakshmi)

ದುರಧಿಗಮನಿಃಸೀಮಮಹಿಮಾ (दुरधिगमनिःसीममहिमा, duradhigamaniḥsīmamahimā) = ತಿಳಿಯಲು ಅಸಾಧ್ಯವಾದ ಅಪಾರ ಮಹಿಮೆಯುಳ್ಳ (of unreachable, boundless greatness)
ಮಹಾಮಾಯಾ (महामाया, mahāmāyā) = ಮಹಾಮಾಯೆಯಾಗಿ (as Mahamaya)
ವಿಶ್ವಂ ಭ್ರಮಯಸಿ (विश्वं भ्रमयसि, viśvaṃ bhramayasi) = ಜಗತ್ತನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿಸುತ್ತೀಯೆ (you turn the world)

ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಅರ್ಥ (ಕನ್ನಡ)

ಪರಬ್ರಹ್ಮನ ಪಟ್ಟದರಸಿಯೇ, ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಬಲ್ಲವರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬ್ರಹ್ಮನ ಪತ್ನಿಯಾದ ವಾಗ್ದೇವಿ ಸರಸ್ವತಿ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ, ವಿಷ್ಣುವಿನ ಪತ್ನಿಯಾದ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಶಿವನ ಸಂಗಾತಿಯಾದ ಪಾರ್ವತಿ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ಈ ಮೂವರನ್ನೂ ಮೀರಿದ ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯವಳು. ತಿಳಿಯಲು ಅಸಾಧ್ಯವಾದ ಅಪಾರ ಮಹಿಮೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಮಹಾಮಾಯೆಯಾಗಿ ನೀನು ಈ ಜಗತ್ತನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿಸುತ್ತೀಯೆ.

ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಅರ್ಥ (ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್)

Queen of the supreme Brahman, those who know the scriptures call you Sarasvati, goddess of speech and wife of Brahma. They call you Lakshmi, wife of Vishnu. They call you Parvati, daughter of the mountain and Shiva’s companion. But you are a fourth, beyond all three, of a greatness no one can reach or measure, and as Mahamaya you set the whole world turning.
